Just Dance: Summer Party is built directly from Just Dance 2, using that game as its basis. It collects the downloadable content and Best Buy exclusive songs that were originally released separately for Just Dance 2, putting them onto a single disc for convenience. The five songs that were planned but not included are "It's Not Unusual", "Crazy Christmas", "Spice Up Your Life", "Come on Eileen", and "Should I Stay or Should I Go".

In Their Own Story

The game includes 23 songs, all taken from the downloadable content and Best Buy exclusives of Just Dance 2, except for the five omitted tracks. Players can mirror on-screen dance choreography from over 20 songs, with up to four players able to play at once. The modes available are the same as Just Dance 2: "Classic", "Duets", "Simon Says", "Race", "Non-Stop Shuffle", and "Just Sweat".

Reader's Guide

To play Just Dance: Summer Party, insert the disc and select a song from the track list of 23 songs. Up to four players can dance simultaneously, following on-screen choreography. The game judges players on their ability to follow a dance routine to a chosen song. Modes include Classic, Duets, Simon Says, Race, Non-Stop Shuffle, and Just Sweat. Note that five songs from the original DLC and Best Buy exclusives are not present: "It's Not Unusual", "Crazy Christmas", "Spice Up Your Life", "Come on Eileen", and "Should I Stay or Should I Go".
